Why should I back your project now, instead of waiting to see if it’s any good and buying it after it’s released?

You get to save some money, and help make Bar Fight even better! Our Kickstarter backers get their copy(ies) of Bar Fight 9% below MSRP. Also, pledges go towards unlocking reach goals that improve the production quality of the game, while post-campaign copies won’t factor into that.

Can I buy more than one copy?

Absolutely! You’ll be able to order additional copies through the pledge manager, after the campaign ends. Add-on copies of Bar Fight will be $27, with additional shipping depending on your location.

How do I pay for Add-Ons?

You’ll be able to pay for any Add-Ons you want in the Pledge Manager after the campaign, or you can increase your pledge by the amount of the Add-Ons you want. Any additional pledge money you have will be available as credit in the Pledge Manager.

Will there be a pledge manager, and if so, how will it work for this project?

Yes! We’re partnered with BackerKit, who’ll be collecting pledges and shipping information after the campaign ends. You’ll be able to purchase additional copies of Bar Fight there, as well as a few other goodies!

Can you ship to my country? Why are the shipping costs the way they are?

Yes! We’re offering global shipping for Bar Fight. We’ve estimated what shipping will probably be for different countries, but we can’t lock in any shipping costs until closer to when the game ships, due to fluctuations in the state of global freight. We want to keep shipping costs for backers as low as possible, and will be doing everything we can to that end.

Is Bar Fight English language dependent?

For now, yes. We’d love to translate Bar Fight in future versions, but this campaign is just for an English language version of the game.

I'm a brick and mortar retailer, and would love to carry Bar Fight. What can I do?

Great! We’ve got two pledge tiers for U.S. based retailers with brick and mortar stores. One has five copies of the game at 40% off MSRP, and one has ten copies at 50% off MSRP, both with free shipping. How will shipping charges be collected?

They’ll be collected in our Pledge Manager, BackerKit, after the end of the campaign.

Why are you collecting shipping after the campaign?

It’s impossible to know exactly how much shipping will cost, and we don’t want to end up overcharging any of our backers. Collecting shipping after the campaign ends gives us the ability to better pinpoint the exact cost.

Can my group or club do an order together?

Unfortunately, no. We’ve done everything we can to keep the price of Bar Fight as low as possible, but that means we won’t be offering group discounts.

Will shipping be VAT Friendly?

At the moment, we’re not planning on offering VAT Friendly Shipping. We expect the majority of our backers to be based in the United States, and VAT Friendly Shipping would increase the per-unit cost with no benefit to most of our backers. If the makeup of our backers is more internation than we expect, though, we’ll definitely see about VAT Friendly shipping. Our ultimate goal is making the best experience for our backers as possible, and we’re flexible about how to do that.

Will the box hold sleeved cards?

Our primary goal is to provide the best user experience for the game as it is shipped. This means prioritizing how the box and insert hold and protects un-sleeved cards, so we can’t guarantee sleeved cards will fit into the box.

BackerKit FAQ

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
