Time to Fight!

Hey Bartenders-

With fulfillment well under way, you should be getting your copy very soon (if you haven't already)! We've been getting some great pictures of people enjoying the game, and it's so rewarding to finally be sharing Bar Fight with y'all.  A huge thanks from both of us to each and every one of you for your support.

At this point, all packages should be en route. If anyone hasn't gotten a shipping confirmation with a tracking number from Funagain, please let us know and we'll follow up with them.

Some of our more eagle-eyed backers did find a small typo in the rulebook, and we want to clarify that issue. The rulebook (mistakenly) says that there should be 44 Spirit Cards, while in reality, the game only has 43. That's totally our fault. We made a small balancing adjustment late in the process (getting rid of one Moonshine card), and forgot to update the count in the rulebook. Rest assured though, you've got the complete version of the game. Sorry for the confusion.

Moving forwards, our updates might be slightly more spaced out. We'll let you know if we're hitting up any conventions (playing Bar Fight with y'all is such a blast!), and with a few planned projects (like getting the cocktail recipe PDF up on our website, for anyone that missed the initial upload), but other than that, Bar Fight is in your hands! Keep spreading the word, and keep in touch! We love to hear from you about Bar Fight, or just cocktails and games in general.

Bar Fight Is On The Way!

Hi Bartenders, 

Our partners are (finally) starting fulfillment this week for Bar Fight!!! It may take some time to get out to everyone, but you'll be holding it in your hands soon. It has been a long road to get to this point, and we are forever grateful for your support at every step along the way. We hope you have fun with it, and we'd love to see where the games end up! We're always here if you have any problems, questions, or revelry throughout the fulfillment process. 

A couple of notes: 

1. Addresses are in the fulfillment center's hands now. The games are beginning to ship, so we can't guarantee they will go to the correct address unless we have any changes before EOD tomorrow. Be sure to contact us immediately if your address is incorrect. 

2. They will be shipping the game and the rocks glasses in two separate packages for international backers.

Cocktails: A Bar Fight Companion

We don't have an update from our distributor yet, but we wanted to send you our companion cocktail book.

The one catch is that the link will expire in 7 days, so please try to download it soon. If the deadline passes before you can download it, shoot us a message, and we'll re-link it for you. 

We hope you have fun with it. Instead of one drinking game using the components from our game, we made TEN! I know it may still be a while before you can play them (unless you made a print and play), but we are hopeful you shouldn't have to wait much longer.

Fun with Freight

Sorry for our prolonged silence. We, too, are waiting for the games. We had hoped to have the games in time for PAX East but had to make the call to skip that convention this year. International freight shipping has been a difficult game to master this year but we never anticipated the logistics taking as long as they have.

Here is what we know so far:

• The boat with our freight is at the port, waiting to clear customs.

• Our distributor is also in a terrible bottleneck affecting all the games they are shipping.

• The new estimate from our partner is that Bar Fight will begin shipping in May.

However, it's not all bad news. This waiting has given us the time to work on our Bar Fight companion cocktail book, and we will be sending that out this week. It contains recipes to make cocktails from the game, original artwork, and maybe even a drinking rule or two for the game. Here is a teaser.

We hope to send a positive message very soon.

A Not-So-Fun Update

Hey Bartenders-

Unfortunately, we have some bad news. We'd hoped you'd all have your copies of Bar Fight in your hands by this point, but obviously that's not the case. The games are still on their way to the fulfillment center, and while we've been doing everything we can to speed this process up, Funagain (our fulfillment partner) is seemingly completely overwhelmed at this point and everything's progressing much slower than we anticipated. 

While this is an issue many companies both large and small have been facing these days, we still want to personally apologize to each and every one of you for the delay. Your support both in the campaign and throughout the process has been incredible, and we'll keep doing everything we can to get your games to you A.S.A.P.

We really appreciate your patience, and hopefully there'll be good news soon. As soon as we have a more accurate timeline, we'll let you know.
